The Micro-Niche Sweet Spot

So, you know you want to have your own business. You want it to be huge. You want it to be successful. You need to offer your services to EVERYONE. Right?

NO!

If you are just starting out, the BEST piece of advice I can give you is to hone in on exactly who you want to serve. The micro-niche sweet spot.

You may think that by serving a few, you could be missing out on the masses. But lets think about your customer for a second.

Say for example you are a yoga teacher and your class is open to all. Anyone can come along. But what about the people who really want to join in but they are too embarrassed because they have never done it before so don’t want to risk getting stuck in some unflattering position whilst they are wishing they had just stayed at home. With a packet of biscuits.

Could you target beginners and introduce them to yoga from the comfort of their own home? Could you stream sessions via You Tube subscriptions?

You could narrow that down even further and target new mothers who want to get back into shape by starting yoga. From the comfort of their own home whilst the time sucking bundle of joy is finally sleeping.

Your marketing to your micro-niche becomes directed at them. It’s as if you are speaking right to them. You know EXACTLY what they are feeling. Thinking. What their frustrations are. You are ticking all their boxes. Giving them way to alleviate their pain points.

They sign up and love you forever. Recommend you to their friends. More clients come your way. More cash in your account. You invest more. Grow more. And you repeat.

By serving a micro-niche, you have the potential to become the Holy Mother in that field.

If you aim to serve the masses, you risk being another little fish, competing with lots of other little fish AND the big fish and so you end up with a mediocre business. Instead of working towards your 7-figure in sales – which is totally realistic when you are operating in a micro-niche by the way. You become the EXPERT in your field. You then decide how big you want to go in your micro-niche.

Let’s take me for example. I work with:

  1. Women
  2. Who tend to be mid 20’s to late 30’s
  3. Who are ambitious
  4. Career minded
  5. Who want to leave their 9-5 job
  6. And start their own business

I work with women to transform their careers from being an employee to being an entrepreneur.

I don’t work with just anyone. This is my micro-niche.

To become an entrepreneur, you need to simply spot an opportunity and make it a success. You need to spot the gap in the market and fill it.

There are gaps everywhere.

Think of the micro-niches.

What is missing in their lives?

How can you fill that gap?

If you are a in your 9-5 and you are seeing what clients are not getting. What can you do about it? How can you serve them better?

If you are a clean-eating mum, who wants the same for your children, what would make your life easier?

I’m on a mission to help women around the world take the leap into entrepreneurship because we have the power, the tools and the technology to do so.

Are you ready?
